The 26th September is recognised to be ‘The European Day of Languages’. Europe is rich in languages – there are over 200 European languages but over 7,000 around the world. This is an important resource to be recognised, used and cherished.
This year, the MFL department decided to run events not only on 26th September but during the whole week. See below for some of the events which took place. The Turkish and Hungarian sessions were taken by some of of Sixth Form students who are bilingual.
