On Remembrance Day we held our annual service in the Remembrance Garden. Thank you to staff members for making the beautiful poppies which have been added to the garden this year.
The Learning Resource Centre had a selection of books on display during the weeks running up to Remembrance Day for students and staff to read.
In every act of remembrance, we honour the memory of the fallen and pledge to care for the living. Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed in former countries of the British Empire, and current Commonwealth member states since the end of the First World War to honour armed forces members who have died in the line of duty. The day is also marked by war remembrances in several other non-Commonwealth countries.
