On Monday 19th June, year 12 drama and theatre students took part in a two-hour physical theatre workshop based on the highly acclaimed contemporary theatre company ‘Frantic Assembly’. This was a fantastic experience created by our very own Mrs Taff who had the privilege of recently experiencing a teacher workshop by the company and was eager to share her experiences with our wonderful students. The two-hour high-energy workshop included lifting techniques-controlled movements which enabled the students to explore and analyse different performance outcomes. This not only supported their devised performances that they will be creating in year 13 but also supported their set text study of ‘Curious Incident of a dog in the night-time’.
