A range of activities were on offer to celebrate British Science Weeks 2022. These included a trip to Magna for Y7 Science Club, a live zoom talk delivered by Professor Strong about venomous animals for the Y8s, making and racing mini electric cars, a talk by McLaren Engineers for Y9s and a medical taster session for the Y10s. Miss Gowers, Dr Keith and Dr Jones delivered inspiring assemblies about ‘Women in Science’ and the STEM careers of some of just a few of our past students. The winners of our Y7-Y13 growth competition are detailed below:
